Biography
Babak Motamedi is a Professor of Nursing at the Department of Nursing, Islamic Azad University, Dehaghan Branch, Iran. He has done BS from Tehran University in 1988, and MS from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 1993. He received his PhD in Nursing Science from Azad University in 2001. From 1993 to 2002 he served as Vice president of University Research Center and from 2002 to 2010 he served as the Department Chair at Islamic Azad University, Dehaghan Branch, Iran.
Research Interest
His research interest includes reducing health disparities through health promotion and disease prevention in underserved populations, the use of community based participatory research methods, prevention and treatment of chronic diseases, violence control in health sector and clinical research ethics.
